Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson, has subtly suggested an electoral victory for former President John Mahama and his running mate, Prof Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang.
Ms. Nelson encouraged Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang to “put Ghanaians first” and not allow herself to be carried away like others have done in the past when they ‘gain power.
’It is unclear if Yvonne Nelson is looking at a victory for Mahama and Prof. Opoku-Agyemang come December 2020 or December 2024, but her recent tweet suggested she is ‘confident’ of a win for Mahama and Prof. Opoku-Agyemang.Prof.
Opoku-Agyemang, an educationist was announced as running mate of former President John Mahama last Friday, a move which has got many talking.Yvonne Nelson in her congratulatory message to the former Education Minister, asked her to put Ghanaians first and not get carried away like the ‘others’.She also wished Ghana’s first female Vice-Chancellor all the best.She tweeted “deliver and serve your people right. We know its strategic, yeaa, we only need leaders who will put GHANAIANS first, do this and dont be carried away like they all do when they win. All the best.”
