The Ndede Kojo Foundation Founded By Former Miss Tourism Ghana, Dorothy Ndede Kojo Held Its 2nd Annual Donation Drive, Themed “The Giving For Good Christmas Drive“
On Thursday, 26th December 2019 the Ndede Kojo Foundation held its 2nd Annual Donation at Adu Suazo a remote village in the western region of Ghana.
The activities of the day included a personal hygiene and menstrual education session for the teenage girls followed by a sanitary pad donation made possible in part by FAYTEX SANITARY PADS, in addition books and presents were donated to participants of the question answer session held in regard to the menstrual education session, we then closed the day’s activities with a Christmas party with lots of food and drinks for over 600 children and teenagers.
Elders , parents and children of the village were filled with joy and showed much appreciation to the foundation’s effort in making this year’s Christmas a memorable one and even requested that the foundation return the next year.
The turnout of the donation was a great success according to the members of the foundation interviewed. The leading member of the foundation was quoted saying;
“I believe we all have the responsibility to care and help the people who are less privileged than us and i am really grateful to each and every one who contributed to making this donation a success.
A special thank you to the MCE of the Jomoro municipal assembly Honorable Ernest Koffie for his immense support towards this project, to fay international for the sanitary pads, to the chief, elders and teachers of Adu suazo for bringing the community together and lastly to my family and friends who donated and volunteered to support the donation, I say your support is invaluable to us, thank you once again.
