Besiktas management to hold discussions over Kevin-Prince Boateng

Management of Turkish giants Besiktas are set to hold discussions over the future of Ghanaian forward Kevin-Prince Boateng at the club.

The 33-year-old joined Besiktas on loan from Serie A side Fiorentina in January.

Initial reports in Turkey claimed, Besiktas would hand Boateng a one year contract if he plays 45 or more minutes in 10 games.

However, his salary has become a factor as to whether he would stay or leave at the end of the loan in the summer.

According to reports, Besiktas will pay Boateng 1.7 million euros if the deal is made permanent.

This will affect the team’s finances as they have budgeted 18 million euros for next season.

Boateng has played 373 minutes in six appearances and has scored two goals.
