National Service Personnel Donates to School.

Richard Nti Bosompem, Personnel of the National Service Scheme (NSS) in the Ashiaman district has on Friday February 22, 2019 donated 7 school uniforms, 700 Exercise Books and a box of pen to the Ashiaman Tarbiya Islamic school.

According to Mr. Richard, the donation came as a call from some of these students after hearing their predicaments as to why they wore tarted uniform to school.

“ I have being teaching in this school as a National Service personnel for six months now. The uniform some of these students put on to school is very bad. Most of these students are brilliant but needy. They need a little push for them to achieve their dream and I strongly believe with this little gesture, it will at least push them a bit further academically.

As a teacher, I always feel bad when these students come to school with torn books or without books at all. When I ask them why, they always say their parents don’t have the means to purchase books and other learning materials them”.

Mr. Richard who believes that giving is the key to success, fulfillment, and a life of prosperity went on to disclose that, his donation became a reality after speaking to some friends as to how they can help him to assist these children attain greater heights in terms of education.

Accepting the items on behalf of the school, the headmaster of the school, Mr. Ahmed Taufic expresses his profound gratitude for the gesture and his admiration for the young National Service Personnel for carrying out such a worthy cause.

In furtherance, Mr Richard used the opportunity to thank the school for accepting the gesture and also thanked his friends for their immense contribution for making the donation a success.
