Education: 6-Unit Classroom Block with ancillary facilities commissioned at Piengua Yokwenor in Lower Manya Krobo Municipality

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh, MCE for the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality on Tuesday, 22nd January, commissioned the newly completed 6-Unit Classroom block with special ancillary facilities at Piengua Yokwenor M/A Primary as Nene Tetteh Zogli III, wetsomatse Piengua division said Ayekoo to Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh for his great selfless leadership.

The short commissioning ceremony was witnessed by high powered delegation from the security sector as the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Immigration Commander, Supt./Mrs. Emelia A. Adjei and ASP./Mr. Harry Selormey, Odumase Police Commander both present to grace the occasion.

The acting Lower Manya Krobo Municipal education Director, Mrs. Veronica Tetteh in her brief speech applauded Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh for his maximum commitment to revive this almost dead Piengua Yokwenor M/A Primary school due to infrastructure challenges over the years. She concluded by saying Ayekoo Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh for completing this project within a record time.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh in his address expressed his heart felt appreciation to the president of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for giving him the opportunity to serve his people under his transformational leadership.

The Hon. MCE continued to made it clear to the gathering of his decision of absorbing the Piengua Yokwenor M/A School as his personal special school and due to that he immediately put the school on the school feeding Program after assuming office to sustain the situation as he immediately broke grounds for the construction of this fulfilled project which is a dream come true.

Hon. Simon Kweku Tetteh concluded by saying that this special project for his special school has a 6-Unit Classrooms, W/C toilet facilities for both teachers and students, headteachers Office, ICT laboratory, store among other ancillary facilities including disable friendly access which not found on the normal 6-Unit Classroom block projects. The Hon. MCE also donated 100 desks to the school.
