DSW is an anti-pollution group whose aim is to is to bring to bear, total realisation of the Sustainable Development Goal Six (6) ; which is ”Clean Water and Sanitation.”
It is of this standing that we have taking upon ourselves to preach the message of cleaner water and sanitation and the significance of sustaining our water bodies and environment. Power Africa and DSW and all our one hundred and eight Ambassadors across Ghana have track records of how keen we are with rural folks and their water bodies.
Recent to these illustrations was our engineered One-man Demonstration over the Korle Lagoon in the heart of Ghana’s capital city,Greater Accra, that was telecast by Angel Television and aired by some FM stations in Accra and Eastern Region such as Kingdom FM, Ahotor FM, Rite FM and many others.
We have demonstrated also the talk by successfully organising a cleanup exercises in some parts of Eastern Region with the people in Klo-Agogo, Ogome in Somanya and some few market squares in the same region.
Prior to this year’s Kloyosikplemi festival of the people in Yilo Krobo, due to be launched in November 1, 2017 we petitioned the Paramount Chief on our vision for maintaining cleaner atmosphere, before, during and after the festival. We were invited by Nene Nuer Anorbaah Sasraku II and his Planning Committee Members for yesterday which we honoured. It was a success.
