Court Places Injunction On Activities At Laboma Beach

An Accra High Court has placed an interim injunction on Laboma beach resort to hault upcoming events at the premises.

It followed the filing of a suit by the managing director of SBC La limited.

The plaintiff Prince Sowah Annan is
therefore seeking a declaration that the mode of operation by laboma beach is illegal.

The plaintiff want the court to hault all activities at laboma beach until due process is followed.

The Accra High Court granted the plantif interim injunction on 24th December 2019.

The court presided by H/H M.E Essandoh ordered for the closure of laboma beach with immediate effect. The Injunction is said to last for Ten days.

Laboma beach has been the hub for many occasions in Accra for some time now.

However Property owner of laboma beach has vowed to close down the facility if due process is not followed.

Meanwhile a serious advert has been on radar for an upcoming event by Afro fusion which is slated to run from Saturday to Sunday.
