The NDC chairman for the Ejisu Constituency in the Ashanti Region Mr Mustapha Mohammed has described the Commission of inquiry set to probe the recent Mayhem incurred during the Ayawaso west Wuogon by- Election as a ” CALCULATED ATTEMPT TO TAINT JUSTICE” by the NPP government led Nana Addo Dankwa Abodani Akuffo Addo.
FLASHBACK: The Vice president of the republic of Ghana His Excellency Dr Alhaji Mammud Bawumia per Article 278 (1) Sworn in three (3) Member commission Led by Professor Emile Short to probe the Recent Stalemate happened during the AWW by- Election where Some Tugs who are identified to be fervent supporters of the ruling NPP sprayed bullets on their Opponents.
In Reaction to this, Mr Mustapha Mohammed has told Kumasi Based Sweet fm’s Anchor Okogyeabour Ocran that, Setting up this Commission is just waste of taxpayers money because, The Deputy national security minister who double as the MP for Abetifi Hon Bryan Acheampong emphatically said, these Hooligans are from his Outfit and they are identifiable so, it’s needless to set up a commission to waste resources.
He again expressed his Disappointment in the,Ghana police Service which according to him, The Ghana police Service has sold its credibility and integrity to the NPP government so their work is in jeopardy when it comes to public protection.
Later part of the Interview, NDC chairman advised his fellow Muslim youth not to sell their minds to politicians in the Coming General Election. He said, Their Checks after the Ayawaso West Wuogon Clash has revealed some name where Muslims Occupied a higher percentage.
“I wonder why our Muslim youth still sell their Strength and integrity to politicians in this modern World. Why is it because they don’t have the understanding of politics? Anytime there’s a political Clash, Muslim youth are the Core Suspects It’s about time the Muslims help to promote peace in this country but not war” Chairman Mustapha added.
