Mrs Oluwakemi Omolewa, widow of Pastor Jeremiah Kehinde Omolewa of the Living Faith Church, Romi New Extension, Kaduna has regained her freedom.
Pastor Omolewa the late resident Pastor of Living Faith Church, Romi New Extention, Kaduna, was killed by gunmen suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen along the Kaduna-Abuja road when he was traveling with his wife and son. His son escaped same day while his wife who was abducted has just regained her freedom.
A church deacon that confirmed the release to our correspondent , said, ‘Yes, our mummy has regained her freedom and in all things we will continue to give our God thanks”. He however wouldn’t want his name mentioned on news until an official statement is issued on it.
Also confirming the release to Internews Network, Apostle Egoh Bako, the Kaduna State Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), declares that “shortly after the powerful statement from Bishop David Oyedepo releasing curses on the kidnappers, PFN received the news that Mrs Kemi Omolewa, the wife of the abducted late Living Faith pastor regained her freedom from the kidnappers that were holding her.
“The government must be proactive and rise to the security challenges in this country. However, the Church will not relent in the battle.
“The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church of Christ.” Apostle Bako concluded.
