PDP LOOSES ANOTHER STRONG ARROWHEAD AS REV EMMANUEL OLORUNMAGBA DUMPS THE PARTY, EMERGES DEPUTY NATIONAL PUBLICITY SECRETARY OF NEW NIGERIA PEOPLE’S PARTY (NNPP).Μ
A former member of the Atiku/Obi Presidential Campaign Committee of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and a strong arrowhead in the party, Rev. Emmanuel Olorunmagba, has dumped the party and joined the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and emerges the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, NNPP in an emergency online meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party.
Before his exit from PDP, apart from been one of the major arrowheads of the party on social media, always ensuring verified factual information that his followers also look out for as breaking political news or to confirm such news, Emmanuel has lead different teams to passionately and selflessly work for PDP and has served in various Committees of the party including, but not limited to Media Committees, consistently in the past three National Conventions in addition to the last all important National Convention held in Port Harcourt that saw to the emergence of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the presidential candidate of the party. The Atiku he supported passionately, both before and after he emerged the flag bearer of the party. He also served in the Technical Committee for the Atiku Presidential Campaign, before returning to Kaduna State to work with others as a team to deliver the entire Southern part of Kaduna and the team followed up to ensure the votes in the zone counted.
Well known for his “Operation-Bumper-To-Bumper” election monitoring team, he has been part of election monitoring team for PDP at most critical times and most volatile areas and marked election rigging down, reducing the effects to the barest minimum; while feeding the public with live election results through his social media accounts and Arise News247, the news platform which he is the Chief Editor.
Though he has refused to disclose the reason for his exit, but it is a strong signal that it is not so well in the camp of the major opposition party, the PDP, as many of the loyal members are getting weaker by the day to the extent that they often turn to attack the party stalwarts when they commit any error.
