Agriculture: 250 Hectares of Cashew and Mango plantations burnt to ashes; Farmer cries out to government for help.

 

 

 

 

 

 

About 250 Hectares of Cashew and Mango plantations belonging to one Mr Owusu Maxwell (Eddy Maxwell) and other Farmers at Apesika in Kintampo South district of Bono East Region has got burnt mysteriously.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

According to the Farmer Mr.Owusu Maxwell, the farm was not owned by only one person but in bunches of groups, Mr Baaru and one lawyer at Ghana revenue authority in Accra.

“It will be very difficult for me to point out the cause, I just got to my farm last Friday and found it burnt” he hinted.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Maxwell Owusu is therefore appealing to the Agric Ministry, Government, NGOs and Private organizations to come to his aid.
