Blame Delegates for lack of development in Ghana – Presidential hopeful.

The independent presidential hopeful, Onnipayede Osom Teye has kicked against President Nana Akuffo Addo’s intention to allow Ghanaians to elect their assembly members on partisan basis.

According to him, the decision to elect assembly members on partisan basis will eventually involve delegates of the interested parties,who will at the end decide the candidates to represent the contesting parties Mr. Teye blamed delegates for not choosing the right and development oriented candidates to represent the people in parliament hence lack of development in our constituencies.

He then cautioned the government not to repeat this at the local level of elections.

Onnipayede Osom Teye made this remarks on Nkawkaw based radio station Okwawu FM’s Weekend political show dubed: ” Nea Wo nim” hosted by Nana Obeng Yamoah.
